Once reconstituted in solution, peptides are significantly more susceptible to degradation. Store reconstituted solutions at 2–8°C (refrigerator) and use within 28–30 days. For longer-term storage, prepare aliquots and freeze at −20°C. Do not refreeze peptides once thawed, as repeated freeze-thaw cycles damage peptide structure and reduce stability.

The recommended reconstitution solvent varies by peptide. Bacteriostatic water is suitable for most research peptides. Some hydrophobic peptides may require a small amount of dilute acetic acid or an appropriate buffer before dilution with sterile water. Specific reconstitution guidance is provided on each product page and in the CoA. Always use sterile technique when reconstituting.

Slight cloudiness can occur and does not necessarily indicate a problem. Common causes include incomplete dissolution (gently swirl, do not shake, and allow a few minutes at room temperature), concentration exceeding the solubility limit, or a pH mismatch between the peptide and solvent.

The most common causes include: allowing moisture into vials through condensation from temperature changes, repeated opening of the same vial across multiple sessions, storing reconstituted peptides above 4°C for extended periods, exposure to direct light, and non-sterile handling.
